This is great news for one of the game's unsung greats. In my (and I know, many others') opinion he was teh greatest lead-off hitter of the last 30 years. The blend of poower, speed and patience will hopefully take him much further than just this door-opening 1b coaching job.
This perhaps also means that should expect to see him as a 1st ballot HoF-er in what, 2012? 2011?
