My Hero, Delmon Young

As I'm sure many of you have seen, Tampa Bay prospect Delmon Young hurled a bat at an umpire during a Durham-Pawtucket game in Pawtucket this past April. From a pitcher's point of view, I'd have loved to have seen more calls like this when I played, but I give props to Young for living my dream: nailing a dumbass in blue with a bat.

Young will be suspended for fifty games as a result of his bat-toss, which will cost him $145,000 in salary. My advice to Young, next time you want to lash out violently at the old ballyard, just chuck a chair at a fan's face. That would have cost you much less money, and much less playing time.

Nothing like waking up and seeing that headline as the first thing on the blog. Thank you Jackson.
Have you seen the footage on ESPN. It's hilarious. All it needs is the parlor ragtime upright piano tinkling to accompany and it would rule all over "The IL's Funniest Home Videos."
